East by East West at Starburst Boutique
East by East West makes a welcome return to Starburst for SS 13. This under the radar label was created by London College of Fashion M.A graduate Sunu Lee in 2008 and has gained a reputation for producing understated and beautifully cut clothes. After viewing collection after collection filled to the brim with 3000 pieces available in 10 colours ( all a bit mass produced) it is refreshing to see a line which is well edited and has the confidence to produce a smaller number of pieces lending itself a slightly bespoke air. Key pieces include the 1920`s style cocoon coat in navy linen, the navy crepe tabard dress, the button back dress in crisp white linen and the oversized printed shirt in a superfine floaty cotton.
